Batuan Temple

Batuan Temple (Pura Batuan) is one of Bali’s most iconic and historically rich temples, located in the village of Batuan in central Bali, not far from Ubud. Known for its stunning traditional Balinese architecture and intricate carvings, this temple is a prime example of the island’s deep spiritual heritage and artistic craftsmanship. The temple is a remarkable display of Balinese Hindu architecture, characterized by its detailed stone carvings, intricate wooden structures, and traditional split gates (called Candi Bentar) that mark the entrance to the temple complex.
